We offer dynamic psychedelic projections for events. We own our equipment, and are very experienced at our work. The visual experience we create is of our own art and design, producing a completely unique show. Our work is well known in the live music clubs and community here in Toronto.

We are:

General Chaos Visuals is Stephen Lindsey and Eric Siegerman. Sometimes its one of use, sometimes its both, sometimes we have help  (see Friends of Ours).

Festivals, Parties, Galleries

Our projections make great ambient mood setters, using organic changing visuals  to fill open visual spaces. This is wonderful for festivals or outdoor parties where we can use the inside of tents or marquees, or setup our own screens and backdrops in a natural setting. The stunning effects provide a talking point for large or small gatherings.

Bands

We can provide custom shows for bands, based on lyrical content, musical style, personal preferences etc. We can incorporate your own artwork into our displays. We have worked in most of the clubs in the city, and can adapt to any venue.

DJ Music

We can provide either general psychedelic lighting for dj music, either at parties or at nightclubs. The dynamic nature of the lights (how often we change the displays) can be at your discretion.  In our most sophisticated setups, we can pre-program displays to be tightly synchronised with specific music tracks.

Area

We are able to provide visual displays in the Toronto and surrounding Regions.

Equipment Range

We use multiple projectors to achieve our "surround effect".  The resulting displays are glorious composites of colors and patterns, and also shadows from one direction are covered by projections from another.

We use mainly moving imagery - this is hard to show in still images ! Imagine everything  moving or follow one of the links to see a video clip.

We use the following types of projectors:

Optikinetic special effects projectors
Slide projectors. Different sizes for Large medium or small rooms
Overhead projectors
16mm Film Projectors
Strobe Lights
Kaleidoscopic Projectors

We can deploy upto 40 projectors, although a typical medium sized show would be about 10.

Pricing

Please contact us at mailto:slindsey@idirect.com for a quote.

Pricing can depend on a number of factors:

Duration of the event (we typically need an hour to setup and an hour to breakdown)
Size of Show - Number of Projectors Required. We have enough projectors to light the largest buildings so the sky is the limit really.
Dynamic Nature of Show (How many times we might change the projections)
Custom requests for imagery to match themes, lyrics, concepts, stage clothes etc.
Travel distance/time from Central Toronto
If you're lucky and we happen to be a huge fan of your band.......
